more stuff

i originally told myself that i was going on a news blackout until all this election stuff died down -- i just can't take our political reality right now -- but after realizing that working at a newspaper makes that kind of hard, i've rescinded that orignal idea.

in that vein, an article from feministe's blog. it's from the bbc about who voted and why. it's interesting and scary and yet not completely depressing. this year we had the highest turnout in 30 years; yet 2/3 of the country remain polarized against each other. i know i'm one of them.

i say it's time for revolution.
