rick james died today.

it's amazing how news about a man who was so ridiculed and deemed as a washout can spread like wildfire through a newsroom.

it's even more amazing how news about this same man can end up prominently displayed on nytimes.com.

it's all b/c of dave chappelle. i guess he's worth all that $50 mil comedy central's paying him. :)
