read this story supposedly about bush's comments at the UNITY conference in d.c., a convention of all the minority journalist associations (nat'l assoc. of black journalists, asian-american journalists' association, national association of hispanic journalists and native american journalists' association) that happens every five years.

apart from the fact that bush did his usual bullshitting at this speech (even tho he thought he was smart -- "hey, by doing this, i can not only say i like journalists, but i like all minority journalists too!"), i was mad that though the story talks about comments bush made at the unity conference, it doesn't mention unity until halfway through the article. what kind of shit is that? (excuse my french)
were they afraid that if they said it was a minority journalism conference that people would run away scared from the article?
